Privacy Policy

DraftPlanar, developed by Draft Planar LLC, is built on a "Local-First" philosophy. We believe your blueprints, intellectual property, and creative ideas belong on your device, not on our servers.

1. Data Collection

DraftPlanar does not collect any data. We do not collect analytics, telemetry, usage metrics, or any personal information. There are no analytics SDKs, no tracking pixels, and no third-party data services in this application.

2. Data Processing

All computing happens on your device. When you import a PDF, generate an overlay, or use OCR (Optical Character Recognition) features, these operations are performed locally using the Apple Metal engine and CoreML directly on your iOS or macOS device. No document data is ever uploaded to external servers.

3. No Account Required

DraftPlanar is a freemium application. We do not require you to create an account, nor do we store your email address or personal information. Your purchase is managed entirely by the Apple App Store.

4. Data Storage

We do not maintain a backend database for user documents. All files are stored in your device's local file system (Sandbox) or your personal iCloud Drive if you choose to enable Apple's system-level syncing. We do not have access to your files.

5. Crash Reports

Apple may collect anonymous crash reports and diagnostics through its standard mechanisms (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements). These reports are sent to Apple and shared with developers in aggregate form. You can opt out of this at any time via your device settings. DraftPlanar itself does not collect or transmit crash data independently.

6. Your Rights Under California Law (CCPA/CPRA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion of personal information, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Because DraftPlanar does not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information, these rights are inherently satisfied. We do not maintain consumer profiles, and there is no personal information for us to disclose, delete, or correct. 7. Your Rights Under EU/EEA Law (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) grants you rights regarding your personal data, including the right of access, rectification, erasure, data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

DraftPlanar does not process any personal data. All operations occur locally on your device. No data is transmitted to us or to any third-party servers. As a result, no legal basis for data processing (such as consent or legitimate interest) is required, and no international data transfers take place. 8. Children's Privacy

DraftPlanar is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because DraftPlanar collects no personal information from any user, we are in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@draftplanar.com.

9. Website (draftplanar.com)

The DraftPlanar marketing website does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics services. No personal information is collected through the website. The website is a static site that does not require user interaction beyond browsing.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where practicable, notify you through the App Store update notes. Your continued use of DraftPlanar after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
